Wall Log Thickness *

34mm wall thickness comes as standard in our small budget range cabins along with 19mm floor boards. 14mm budget windows and doors, standard (not toughened) glass, windows open outwards without tilt and turn function. There is no drip edge on the window. No silver finish and no hinge covers on windows and doors.

A 44mm wall thickness upgrade is highly recommended, as it will make your cabin more structurally solid. This wall thickness will help reduce movement in the walls. The upgrade also includes 28mm floorboards, 24mm budget windows, and doors made of standard (non-toughened) glass. The windows open inwards and feature a tilt-and-turn function, along with a silver finish and a drip edge.

All log cabins in this range are manufactured from the same slow-grown Scandinavian timber as our standard range of Log Cabins and Garden Rooms. However, windows and doors are standard (not premium), and the roofs are shingle (not steel). Gutters and downpipes are not included in the Budget Range.

These cabins are particularly suited to those who enjoy DIY projects and aren’t afraid to hold a hammer. The cabins come as flat packs, providing an enjoyable building experience for those who prefer to assemble it themselves.
